This super-rugged Yeti Tundra 50 Cooler is anything but ordinary. Compact with a smaller footprint, the Tundra 50 is the best tailgating buddy you could ever hope for, but also excels on short excursions. Built to handle the abuse of outdoor adventures while keeping your food and drinks icy cold, this cooler is made using the same material as whitewater kayaks, making this bad boy virtually indestructible. The 2 inches of pressure-injected insulation gives this cooler outstanding resistance to outside temperatures, both hot and cold. The recommended 32-can capacity will hold enough food and beverages for you and your friends to properly root for the home team or enjoy a night under the stars. YETI made this ice chest extra deep so you can stack ‘em high, and they included self-stopping hinges to keep the lid propped open while you grab the next round. The Favre-esque ruggedness means it’ll last from football season to hockey season to baseball season, year after year. Don’t worry about it flying out of your truck in your haste to get to the stadium early: built-in tie-down slots let you ratchet it down for maximum beer security. If you’d rather hit the water than the gridiron, you can use this cooler as a casting platform or seat while fishing. More into roughing it in the woods? This cooler features a grizzly-proof design to protect your vittles from burly party crashers, making it a must-have on your next camping or hunting excursion. Whatever your next adventure may be, this is the cooler that accommodates your active lifestyle.

Print Built For The Wild. Growing up, founders Roy and Ryan Seiders always had a passion for the outdoors. Hunting. Fishing. Traveling to outdoor industry trade shows with their teacher-turned-entrepreneur father. They were raised with an appreciation for wild game, unfamiliar territory and high quality gear.

But the coolers that were out there just weren't up to their outdoor adventures - the handles would break, the latches would snap off and the lids would cave-in. Not only was it a hassle to replace their coolers after each season, but these cheaply built, ordinary ice chests were limiting their good times. And that frustration led them to a solution.

In 2006 they founded YETI Coolers with a simple mission: build the cooler they would use every day if it existed. One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast rather than for the mass discount retailers. One that could take the abuse they knew they'd put it through out in the field and on the water. One that simply wouldn't break. They decided early on that product innovation would come from necessity and firsthand experience - not from market research and data analysis. And they would never sacrifice quality for a few extra bucks. Because having your cooler's lid cave-in when using it as a casting platform should never be part of anyone's fishing trip.

They weren't the only ones looking for a YETI. Today it is the cooler of choice for outdoor enthusiasts, pros, tailgaters and backyard barbeque kings. And that still gets them fired up. Ultimately, life is about having a good time doing what you love. And for them, that's being outdoors hunting whitetail, catching a tarpon on the fly and spending time with their families and buddies. We're wild at heart. So their coolers couldn't be anything less.
