I have two pairs of the Justin Stampede Ropers. I chose the Stampede ropers over the classic Bay Apache ropers because the Stampede ropers have the rubber oil-resistant sole versus the classic Bay Apache leather soles. These boots hold up well and are pretty much ready for wear out of the box. One days' wearing and they feel broken in. They are comfortable and do well in wet conditions. They only complaint (and reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is the "EE" width still seems a tad narrow for my foot. I wear size 12 EE and until broken in these are a slight bit tight on the sides of my foot.
