I bought these boots because I thought they were cute, and I had to wear boots to a wedding.. I wear them pretty much every day, all day.. they are very comfortable and hold up through wear and tear. They are not in any form water proof or resistant though- trudge through a little snow and your feet are thoroughly cold and wet. And the tops rub a sore in your shin even after breaking them in. All around good boot for all kinds of use, as long as you are not hoping on something water resistant.
