Keep your feet dry and comfortable at work or on the farm with the Albuquerque Western Work Boots by Dan Post. These boots are made with leather that is treated to resist moisture. Non-moisture wicking leather is tested 50,000 flexes without any water coming through the leather. The waterproof membrane is made into the boot to trap moisture between the lining and the leather outside boot. The lining is breathable and treated to prevent odors and the growth of fungus so your boots can last longer. A mini-lug traction outsole provides traction without too much tread, helping to keep dirt from tracking with you.

Comments about Dan Post Men's 12" Waterproof Western Boots:
I purchased these Dan Post boots based on the reputation and waterproof claims. I help out at a couple of ranches in Southern Alberta and work continues in all types of weather. I have been very pleased with the performance of these boots, solid construction, easy break in period, very comfortable. The waterproof claims have been proven as well in rain, mud, snow. The one problem relates to the lining. The linings tore within a month of use, beginning with the lining coming away when pulling off the boots and finally ripping. I have "re-lined" the boots with duct tape to preserve what is left of the lining. This lining was a perferated cloth-like lining and not leather.
