I received a pair of the Cody James brown harness boots a week ago and I am very impressed with the quality and comfort. The hardware is heavy and solid. I have a pair of black Frye harness boots which cost $278. They are excellent boots, but these CJs are very close in terms of feel, comfort, and make at over $150 less.

Bought these to replace a 15yr old worn out pair of Harness Boots. I didnt want black again, this brown really is attractive. The comfort was amazing, wore them out the first day I got them and no sore spots. Felt firm as in high quality craftsmanship, but not stiff or cheap. I normally wear an 11.5 in Ariat and Justin, but in these they only come in 11 or 12 and the 12 fits me like an Ariat 11.5. This brown gets so many compliments while out to dinner or shopping at the lumber yard. I think Boot Barn owes me for how many sales I have sent, I love when people ask about these bad boys and always tell them Boot Barn is the place! Id definitely recommend these boots, I was prepared to spend twice as much , but why when these are same or better quality.
