The "Wheat" color of this jacket is pretty much yellow instead of tan - the picture is kind of deceiving. I'm fine with it, but for regular guys I recommend the regular Carhartt Brown color. I like the rib knit waist (one of the reasons I bought it). The name matches the design, as the Western Yokes on front are a very Southwestern style. The collar is a little 70's disco looking, I think the black contrasts a bit too much with the yellow. Just some thoughts. I think the next time I buy a Carhartt it'll be a Bomber style even though I have no use for flame resistance. I just like the look.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
