Boulet, Inc." in Quebec, Canada which eventually became Boulet Boots. The small town, with a population of roughly four thousand, was known their quality of labor and was known as "The Leather Town" because of it's production of quality leather good and shoes. Since Boulet Boots was producing some of the highest quality boots at the time, the Canadian government commissioned Boulet Boots to produce all of their military footwear during World War II.
