The outsole features Ariat's handcrafted Toughstock Butyl-treated leather outsole with traditional hand nailed 11-iron weight construction.This sole resists wear and can be resoled. It is more durable and flexible than traditional leather outsoles and it's Duratread heel tap is slip-resisting and adds durability. The ATS technology offers optimal stability and all-day comfort for performance you can depend on. ATS features include: a moisture-wicking footbed for comfort, a gel-cushioned footbed with a heel stabilizer for shock absorption and support, and a lightweight composite forked shank for stability.

I've owned ariats all my life and never had a problem with them. I got a pair of the red top one of these for a Christmas present. When I opened it I noticed the stitching had cut through the leather. Got a replacement pair and was so in love with them. Very disapointed when wearing them to work (office job) the leather started wearing within weeks. In a month these boots had to become barn boots because the leather looked so worn. Definitely a bad buy!

I saw these boots and fell in love with them and their fit and look. Don't be fooled like me within 3 weeks of light wear little walking and never in the barn the print faded and peeled on the bottom portion of the boot. The leather quality is junk I care for my boots with oil and leather conditioners atleast once a month, more if they need it and these cracked and fell apart. The sole had a hole in it within 3 months. These might be ok if you pulled them out to show in then put them away after you got out of the arena and never used them to walk around stores, 15 feet to class, or any light duty walking.
