I loved my Heritage Ariat boots but the sole and heel really wore down after all the days at work, riding, and casual use. I would slip on any wet surface and the heels were becoming uneven. They were also very loud on certain surfaces.
I wanted the same style but more durable and slip resistant. These boots are perfect. They match the style of the Heritage but have a slip resistant sole and more support all around. The heel is more durable and makes less noise when walking. The best part is they fit just like my other Ariat boots and you can attach a new sole if it wears out.
I wouldn't say they're for heavy duty work, but tough enough for everyday use.
