The Heritage Stockman boots are similar to the classic roper style boot, but they include a saddle vamp over the arch of the foot. Just returned to England after 4 week holiday in Arizona (62 year old, 30 year, disabled British Army Veteran brought up on Roy Rogers and 'The Duke'). Bought these boots in Flagstaff at start of holiday. Very comfortable to begin with, now well worn-in after 4 weeks of wear. At first fitting was only slightly concerned about heel slipping but knew about cowboy boot fitting so wasn't worried (sales assistant explained without my asking - which is good in my book). I made the best choice in my opinion. Delighted too strong? Okay, then I'll simply say very, very pleased.

Bought these boots several years ago. I teach horseback riding as well as ride myself. I have taken my boots from the saddle to the arena to cleaning stalls to the wash rack back to the saddle and wipe them down and wear them to the PBR events. They are the most comfortable and durable boots I have ever owned! After I think 3 years and 2 heel resoles I finally have to retire them and get a new pair ...

This is my second pair of Ariat ropers. These blow the doors off Justin boots in terms of comfort, durability and value. The rubber sole is great for roping; you get a good grip in stirrups.
